A ministry touchpoint is a meaningful reach into the lives of your league players and families. In a typical Sunday children’s ministry, speaking into a child over the course of a full year (52 weeks), on average is 40 hours spent. By offering an 8–11 week sport league ministry, you can speak into the child and family on average 20 hours. Sports ministry attracts the entire family and creates these intentional moments to share Christ, through what we call a ministry touchpoint.

Through an Upward Sports league, a ministry touchpoint occurs through evaluations, weekly practices, game day, devotions, coach interactions, season celebrations, host family connections, and much more. Simply put, ministry touchpoints are when opportunities are created for the church to put the Gospel on display and create real relationships.
