Within Upward Sports leagues across the country, there are over 1.25 million volunteers serving to ensure that young athletes are able to experience a first-class sports program. These individuals freely give of their time, energy, and resources in support of the mission to promote the discovery of Jesus through sports.
Volunteers are essential to reaching more athletes and helping them to flourish into strong men and women of faith and character. At Upward Sports, we are passionate about developing total athletes who progress, not only athletically, but also mentally, spiritually, and socially, so they are prepared for success on and off the court/field.
Upward volunteers share in that passion. Their impact goes beyond their chosen duty within the league; they have the ability to make a lasting imprint on countless young athletes’ lives while being positive role models that our youth can aspire to be.
1 Peter 4:10 says “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” There are numerous ways for someone to dive head first into serving their local Upward Sports program.
